Production Operative - BC/HC2/HC3 - Ilminster

Our client based on the outskirts of Ilminster in Somerset is a successful, growing, and ambitious organisation providing manufacturing services to clients around the globe. They are a forward thinking company with innovative plans to develop in the future.

To help our client maintain and develop current and future customer needs they are now looking to recruit permanent skilled Team Members in their various engineering departments on their Double Day Shifts.

The role will involve supporting the activities of the Casting Cell Team Members to ensure that production targets are achieved, and the highest standards of quality are maintained.

To also ensure that ongoing compliance with all health & safety, environmental polices & procedure is followed and adhered to.

The duties will include:

• To receive and check materials for production
• To set machine in accordance with requirements
• To operate a range of engineering manufacturing machinery
• To check and ensure quality of product is to standard
• To complete records and documentation as required
• To work flexibly as part of the manufacturing team and to support other team members as required
